Nature Creative is a private arts therapy business committed to providing a supportive, trauma-informed and inclusive environment with a passion for supporting neurodivergent children and families and children who have experienced adverse childhood events. Nature Creative’s approach is embedded in compassion, neuroaffirmation, and strength-based methods. Using a gentle, humanistic, client-centred and empowering therapeutic approach to support emotional understanding and self-regulation supported by the latest neuroscience. Offering a vast range of intermodal art explorations to enhance creativity, playfulness and experiential enquiry into oneself.
Creative Arts Therapy & Counselling
I’m Tanya, a Bachelor Degree qualified Creative Arts Therapist and Counsellor and the founder of Nature Creative since 2021. I am a Visual Artist and qualified Trainer with experience in holistic wellbeing, Naturopathy and event management
I provide Creative Arts Therapy and Counselling privately at the Nature Creative Arts Studio on Mondays and Thursdays and as a mobile service within schools on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Certified and registered with PACFA, Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. PACFA describes arts therapists as allied health professionals who specialise in the use of ‘more than verbal’ approaches to therapy, including the visual arts, music, dance/movement, creative writing and drama, as well as play, embodied/somatic, nature-based and animal-assisted methods
I am passionate about the therapeutic power of nature and the arts; my holistic approach to therapy, combining nature, art, and mindfulness, reflects my understanding of the interconnectedness of human well-being and the natural world. For nurturing, self-reflection, self-connection, creativity & care that increases emotional, psychosocial & psychological wellbeing

Nature-inspired creative art and craft classes for children with weekly art clubs during school terms:
Kids Art Club: Children aged 6-10, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings
Creative Nature Art Club: Tweens aged 10-14, Monday and Thursday early evenings
Art and wellness classes and workshops for children, teens and adults during school holidays
Homeschooled and Neurodivergent social art workshops and groups
Parent, carer and therapist creative support groups
Paint parties available for all ages upon request!
